Kellas welcomes MPs and industry leaders to CATS terminal with OEUK

We were delighted to welcome Members of Parliament, industry leaders and media to our Central Area Transmission System (CATS) terminal on Teesside on Thursday 6 November, for a roundtable discussion and site tour, hosted with Offshore Energies UK (OEUK).

The visit provivded an opportunity to highlight the vital role of UK domestic gas production in ensuring energy resilience, supporting the economy, and enabling a smooth transition to net zero.

Held ahead of the Autumn Budget, attendees discussed the challenges and opportuntiies facing the UK energy sector, and the importance of creating a stable and supportive policy environment that encourages continued investment in UK energy infrastructure.

We were pleased to partner with OEUK on this important engagement and to showcase CATS' role at the heart of the UK's energy system.
